Full strip and retile of the Cat B listed buildings situated on the River Clyde using Sandtoft Clay plain tile in Flanders’s colour. Previous tiles were a clay pan tile but from historic records and one tile found in the river Clyde when the basin was at low tide a roof tile was found buried in the river bank on the banks hence the reason this tile was used. Extra headlap and the use of grace ice & watersheild was installed to then shallower pitch at the eave to maintain the same tile finish all round. Winner of the NFRC 2022 roof tiling awards for this project.
